Our Elders
Luke Nickerson serves as one of the overseers of the congregation. He and his lovely wife, Marilyn, live in Queen City, TX. Brother Nickerson is a retired school principal and football coach. He enjoys deep conversations on Bible principles and teaching others about Christ. He has a great love for helping others and wants to see the Lord’s church grow.
Jay Johnson serves as an overseer of the congregation. He is married to his lovely wife Patricia. He, Patricia, and their wonderful daughter Brittany live in Vivian, LA. Brother Johson enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience of life with others. His goal is to get others to see the importance of living the Christian life and letting our lights shine in the world. In his spare time, he loves to hunt and play board games with friends and family.

Epifanio Carranza III is the preacher for the Atlanta Church of Christ. He is married to Karen Carranza and has three sons. He graduated from the Memphis School of Preaching in Germantown, TN, in 2022. He enjoys teaching and preaching the Bible. He loves to play and coach sports and enjoys a dinner and movie night with his family.
